Song Writing Contest to Celebrate Women


To Celebrate Virtual Woman's Day™ on Thursday, March 15th - the WECAI Network™ is inviting women to participate in our first-annual song-writing contest.

Women can submit an original song and have the opportunity to "showcase" their talent during our song-writing contest and win some valuable prizes (void where prohibited).

All you have to do is submit your entry before 6pm Eastern time on Tuesday March 13th. Grand prize Winner will be announced throughout the day on Thursday, March 15 during our Virtual Woman's Day™ Online Conference. Winner will also receive national/international recognition via our promotional efforts.

Here's the scoop:

Entry must be submitted on the Virtual Woman's Day™ Song application. The song theme is Virtual Woman so you can use words in your song to convey the theme (such as woman, women, networking, connecting, internet, celebrate, friendship, partnering, business, professional, etc). Submissions can include lyrics, lyrics and music, an audio file or CD or any combination. The song must be an original song of no more than 4 minutes in length.

Entries will be judged by a panel of women in the music industry. Decisions of judges is final. Submission in the contest does not guarantee a winning entry. If there is not sufficient interest in the contest or the judges determine that submissions do not qualify as winners, contest will be postponed until a later time.

Prizes include the following:

Grand prize winner will receive a Global Lifetime Membership in the WECAI Network™

Second place will receive a one-year Charter Elite Membership in the WECAI Network™

Third place will receive a one-year Charter Membership in in the WECAI Network™

By submitting an entry, contestants certify that the work submitted is original and that they hold the rights. Contestants retain all copyrights to the song, however by subitting an entry to the Virtual Woman's Day™ Song Contest, contestant is granting the "use" of the song on the Virtual Woman's Day™ blog, in our promotional efforts as well as during our Virtual Woman's Day™ Online Conference.

All entries will be mentioned on the blog with a link back to their website/blog as well as in an upcoming issue of WE magazine for women.

Join us on Thursday, March 15th for an all-day celebration of women online. Planned in celebration of Women's History Month, the month of March is an excellent time to celebrate woman online by participating in networking opportunities, join new social networking sites and make new contacts around the globe.

Are you a woman? Do you want to increase your circle of influence, make new connections and promote your products and services to a larger audience of like-minded women? If so, you must join us for this historic event.

During Virtual Woman's Day™, women will have additional opportunities to increase their own circle of influence via the WECAI NETWORK™ day-long celebration using our Web Conference Platform. Women will be able to promote their products and services, show off their websites and learn 'best practices' from women who have found great success online via the conference room as well as via the Virtual Woman's Day™, blog.

The event will be promoted via the WECAI NETWORK™, on hundreds of social networking sites, blogs, forums and websites as well as on the internet via articles and media releases. Events leading up to Virtual Woman's Day™, include a song-writing contest describing the virtues of Women Online. In addition to recognizing winners of the song-writing contest, women will be able to submit a one-paragraph description of their products and services with a link to their website which will be added to the Virtual Woman's Day™ blog.
