Announcing our Song-writing Contest Winners!

"There's a song in my heart and a mouse in my hand." Heidi Richards

Songs are simply wonderful. Songs affect people in ways that words alone cannot. When words and music come together and a song is born, it evokes emotion, inspires action, connects us one to another and often remind us of fond memories and days passed. And because we recognize the power of song, the WECAI Network™ decided to create a song-writing contest and see what happened.

And something did. I am so excited! I just could not wait to tell you!

We have TWO winners of our Virtual Woman's Day™ Song Writing Contest and you are about to learn just who they are.

Drum roll please...................................

Lynne Reardon of Electric Angel (http://www.electricangel.com/) in California and Bea Kunz of Sage Hill Farms & Antiques (http://www.sagehillfarmsandvintagestore.com/) in Tennessee came in first and second place respectively.

Lynne submitted the song “Gather the Women” written by her and Midyne Spear.

Bea Kunz submitted the song “The March of Women Entrepreneurs.”

First-place prize is a Global Lifetime membership in the WECAI Network™ (valued at $347). This is the only time since The WECAI Network™ began that we have given our highest membership level to anyone.

“Choosing a winner was a tough decision. While each of the songs was entirely different – Lynne’s entry included both words and music, and Bea’s song included words to the tune of ‘Itsy Bitsy Spider’ we felt that both of these women deserved the Global Lifetime Membership in the WECAI Network™ because their songs were original, uplifting and just made us feel good.”

Be sure to stop by their websites and CONGRATULATE THEM! They will be delighted to hear from you. And may you have a song in your heart and a mouse in your hand when you do.

Wishing everyone a wonderful day filled with music and memories.

Warmest regards,

Heidi & Suzannah
